Whether you went to the game or not, most Friday nights revolved around the football game itself. What were you doing "before the game", what was happening "after the game", and for a lot of people you actually went TO the game. You were a participant in football, cheerleading, band or you were the spectators. What do you remember about the Hurricane football games you went to?

I think I made it to all of the home games my junior and senior year, and 1 or 2 away. But then, after I graduated, in my work for the paper I went to every single JHS game home and away over a span of 5 years, so it all kinda blurs.
There's a little part of me that wishes I had bulked up my 6-foot-3 frame one summer and played ... or else pushed my dad harder to buy me an instrument and played in the band. But I was probably too lazy and too unregimented for either of those.

I let my daughter watch a video of the JHS band during mine and Chris's senior year.She didn't believe it was her Dad because he looked so young! That made me feel REALLY old - then I had to laugh!!
