About the date, my comment would be regarding kids in school. Around Homecoming, those from out of town would have to take kids out of school in order to be in Jonesboro for a Friday night activity. In the summer, at least the kids would be out of school. I know there are others that will have a case for Homecoming instead of Summer. You can't please everyone. Just my 2 cents ....
